Glad to meet you Beth!

I'm glad you enjoyed the posts, I think my writing is a bit on the weak side, but I promise to keep working on it!

Congratulations on the adoption and fighting the cancer. Survivors are my personal heroes, I'm truly humbled by your strength, and honestly I don’t know if I could do what you do.

What do you typically do for your workouts? Is there something you could recommend to other survivors?

Hi there!

I read your guest posting on Josh's site and LOVED it. The tips above seem really great, and I'm now inspired to improve my habits. I love sweets, too. The good thing, though, is I eat healthy and love all things good for the body, so I need to focus on that.

I've been healthy my whole life and lived healthy (eating and exercising, very fit) -- until I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 39 despite a healthy lifestyle. So I was thinking for a brief time after my treatments that I took such good care of myself, but I got cancer anyway, so I ate trash....not literally...figurately speaking. (LOL)

But now I'm on the right track. In remission for about seven years, I decided about six years ago that I still needed to eat healthy and exercise because I will still reap benefits from it --even if I didn't live a long life, I could still live a quality one.

And exercise also diminishes depression and anxiety. So it's all good. Thank goodness I'm cancer free, and I just adopted a baby girl. I have a second chance.

Thanks for your wonderful, inspirational posts.
